Wintergreen essential oil (Gaultheria procumberens) is a warming, pain relieving, anti-inflammatory astringent which helps joint and muscle problems, including lumbago, sciatica, neuralgia, and rheumatoid arthritis. Its main ingredient is pain-relieving methyl salicylate.  

• Analgesic, Anti-Inflammatory Astringent.
• Helps Joint & Muscle Problems: Lumbago, sciatica, neuralgia, myalgia, rheumatoid arthritis. Interchangeable with Birch (both made exclusively of methyl salicylate).
• Blends With: Lime, Oregano, Mints, Thyme, Ylang Ylang, Narcissus, and Vanilla. Has an intense, sweet-woody, fruity odor.
